Appointment automation that cuts no-shows without nagging

The short answer
Appointment automation sends confirmations, reminders and reschedule links around the bookings you already take, and follows up after a no-show, so your front desk stops making reminder calls. It is built and tested from CA$149 one-time on top of the Booking add-on at CA$99 or a calendar you already use.
What changes
- Customers confirm or reschedule from a message instead of phoning
- Reminder calls disappear from the front desk's morning
- No-shows get a follow-up with a rebooking link the same day
- A completed appointment can trigger a review request automatically
What is included
- Confirmation message on booking, by email and optionally SMS
- Reminder schedule you choose, with reschedule and cancel links
- No-show follow-up with a rebooking link
- Post-appointment message, such as aftercare notes or a review request
- Consent capture and opt-out on every message
- Connection to your calendar or booking system
How it works
- 01
Connect
We connect to your calendar or booking tool, or install the Booking add-on if you have none.
- 02
Schedule
You choose the timing and channels for each message; we draft the wording in your voice.
- 03
Test
Test bookings run through the whole sequence, including a deliberate no-show.
- 04
Live
The sequence runs on every new booking; you review the first month's results.
Who this is for
Any appointment-based business: dental and physio clinics, medical offices, salons, driving schools, garages with booked service slots, gyms with classes or consultations. The more each empty slot costs, the faster this pays for itself.
If bookings are rare or always confirmed in person, a shared calendar with a manual reminder is enough. We would rather tell you that than build something you do not need.
How it works
A typical sequence. Timing and channels are yours to set; every message carries an opt-out.
| Trigger | Message | Channel | Timing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Booking made | Confirmation with details and reschedule link | Email, optional SMS | Immediately |
| Day before | Reminder with confirm or reschedule buttons | SMS or email | 24 hours before |
| Same day | Short reminder with address and parking note | SMS | 2 hours before |
| No-show recorded | Sorry we missed you, with rebooking link | SMS or email | Same day |
| Appointment completed | Aftercare notes or review request | Email or SMS | Same evening |
What it costs
The appointment workflow is from CA$149 one-time as an Automation. If you have no online booking, the Booking add-on is CA$99 and connects to your calendar. SMS messages carry carrier usage fees billed separately at cost; email messages use your provider.
Limitations and honest notes
Reminders reduce no-shows; they do not eliminate them. Redenn does not quote reduction percentages because they vary by business and we will not invent one.
Reminders for an appointment the customer booked are different from promotions, but we capture consent and include an opt-out on every message so CASL is respected either way.
The workflow depends on your calendar or booking tool exposing an API. Some older systems do not, and the Booking add-on is the usual fix.
Questions
Which calendars and booking tools does it work with?
Google Calendar, Microsoft 365 calendars and most booking systems with an API. The Booking add-on covers businesses that have none.
Can customers reschedule from the message?
Yes. Confirmation and reminder messages carry reschedule and cancel links that update the calendar directly.
Is SMS included?
The workflow is included; the carrier's per-message charges are billed separately at cost. Email-only sequences have no usage cost.
Do I need a CRM for this?
No. It runs from the calendar. If you have a CRM, appointment status can be written back to the customer record.
