How we write, source and correct content

01Who writes Redenn.ca content

Guides, comparisons and market pages are written by Redenn's teams from delivery work: the engineers who build and host client sites, and an editorial reviewer who checks every page before it is published. Bylines name the responsible team. If we add a named author, the byline will show their real name and role.

02Sources and facts

Legal, tax and platform facts come from primary sources: the government body, regulator or platform that publishes the rule, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Canada Revenue Agency, CIRA, Google Search Central or OpenAI's documentation. Each sourced page lists its sources with the date we accessed them.

We do not publish invented statistics, survey numbers we did not collect, fake reviews, or results we cannot show. Where something cannot be honestly generalized, such as what a website 'usually' costs across the market, we say it varies rather than guess. Redenn's own prices are quoted from our published price list, and change there first.

03Review, dates and freshness

Every guide shows three dates: published, last reviewed and last updated. 'Updated' changes only when the substance changes, not when a comma moves. Pages are re-reviewed on a schedule set by how quickly their subject changes.

04Tools and drafting

Writers may use software, including AI tools, for research and drafting. Nothing is published without a person checking every fact against its source and every price against the price list. Pages are never mass-generated.

05Corrections

If you find an error, email us with the page address and what is wrong. We check it against the source, correct the page, and change its updated date when the correction is substantive.
