Who this is for
Canadian businesses with a catalogue they understand well: a manufacturer selling direct, a shop adding online orders, a service business selling packages or gift cards. The common thread is wanting a store that runs on code you own and a database you can export at any time.

Tax rules are built in by province of delivery. The rates below are published by the Canada Revenue Agency and were checked on 2026-09-24; rates change and must be verified before launch.

Limitations and honest notes
Product photography, descriptions and pricing are yours to supply or commission. A store with weak product content will not sell, no matter how well it is built.
If you sell into Quebec, the Charter of the French Language requires your commercial website to be available in French. Budget for translation as part of the launch.
Redenn does not guarantee sales or rankings. A store is a sales channel; it still needs traffic from search, ads or an existing customer base.
Questions
Should I use Shopify instead?
If you need a large app ecosystem, point-of-sale sync or multi-warehouse fulfilment, probably yes. If you want a fast store you own with a focused catalogue and no monthly platform fee, a Redenn build is usually the better value over a few years.
Which payment processor do you use?
Stripe, in your own Stripe account. Processor fees are paid to Stripe directly and are not marked up.
Can I manage products myself?
Yes. The admin lets you add products, variants, prices, stock and shipping rules without a developer.
Do you handle the sales tax registration?
No. Registration with the CRA and provincial authorities is between you and your accountant. We configure the rates you are required to charge and make them easy to update.
