Automation check

Answer nine questions about your calls, quotes, scheduling, follow-up and admin. You get the hours a week that could run themselves, the inquiries you are likely losing and the three systems that would help most, all worked out from your own numbers.

Every box starts empty on purpose. We don't fill in wages, call volumes or industry averages, because we can't know yours. Skip anything you don't know; the result shows what your answers allow.

How the numbers work

Hours that could run themselves: for each job, your hours times our estimate of the share software can take over. The high end is the total; the low end is 60% of it, on purpose.

Inquiries likely lost: your missed calls a week, times 52 weeks over 12 months, times the share you said never try again.

Jobs at risk: the inquiries likely lost, times the share of inquiries that become paid jobs, times your average job value.

The value of the hours: the hours a week that could run themselves, times your hourly cost, times 52 weeks over 12 months.

The systems are ranked with missed calls first when you lose any, because each one can be a lost job, then by the hours each would take back.

What this check does not do

It keeps to your numbers, and it says so.

  • It uses no industry averages and no wage figures. Every box starts empty.
  • It does not ask for your name or email.
  • It is not a quote. The prices shown are our published starting prices in Canadian dollars.
  • It does not promise results. It shows what your own answers imply.
  • Your answers are kept in the page address, so a copied link reopens the same result. Anyone with the link can see the numbers in it.

Questions

Why are the boxes empty?

Because we will not guess your wages or your call volume. Any figure we filled in would be an invented average. Enter your own numbers; if you are unsure, try a cautious figure and then a generous one.

Where do the percentages come from?

They are our own estimates of the share of each job that software can take over. They are assumptions, not measured results, which is why the result is a range and the low end is set well under them.

Is this a quote?

No. The systems are matched to your answers, and the prices are our published starting prices in Canadian dollars. A written, fixed-price quote follows within two business days after we talk.

What happens after I see my result?

Nothing, unless you want it to. You can copy a link to the result, or tell us about your business on the start page and a person replies within four business hours, Monday to Friday.

Want these hours back?

If you want help, tell us about your business and a person replies within four business hours, Monday to Friday.
