Reputation systems: earn reviews on purpose, not by accident

The short answer

A reputation system is the routine that asks every satisfied customer for a review, responds to every review that arrives, and shows the best ones where prospects will see them. Redenn builds the review request workflow from CA$149 one-time, connects it to your CRM, booking or job list, and adds review display and monitoring. Reviews are never bought, incentivized or faked.

What changes

  • Review requests go out after every completed job without anyone remembering to send them
  • Every review, good or bad, gets a considered response within an agreed time
  • Recent reviews appear on your website and in your social posts
  • You hear about a negative review from the system, not from a customer

What is included

  • Review request workflow triggered from your CRM, booking tool or invoice
  • Email and SMS request templates with consent and unsubscribe handling
  • Direct links to your Google review form and other platforms you choose
  • Response routine with drafted replies for common situations
  • Review display on your website
  • Alerts for new reviews and a monthly count

How it works

  1. 01

    Trigger

We pick the moment a job is genuinely done: invoice paid, appointment completed, delivery confirmed.

  2. 02

    Message

Short, personal request templates in your voice, with a direct link and a consent record.

  3. 03

    Respond

You or Redenn reply to each review using an agreed routine and tone.

  4. 04

    Display

Reviews shown on your site and reused in social posts; monthly count reported.

Who this is for

Any business where a prospect reads reviews before calling, which is most of them: plumbers, dentists, garages, salons, restaurants, clinics. It matters most for businesses that do good work but have few recent reviews because nobody asks.

It is a poor fit if your process cannot tell you when a job is finished. In that case the CRM Setup or Booking work comes first, because the workflow needs a trigger.

How the system works

Four stages, each with a specific owner and tool. The system fails when any stage is left to memory.

What it costs

The review request workflow is built from CA$149 one-time as an Automation. It is included in Local Search Management from CA$299 per month, which also covers responses and monthly reporting. A reviews section on your site is a website change from CA$29 if the site was built by Redenn; SMS requests carry carrier usage fees billed separately.

Limitations and honest notes

Redenn cannot remove legitimate negative reviews and will not try to bury them. We help you respond well and report reviews that breach platform policy.

Google's policies prohibit review gating, so the workflow asks every customer, not only the happy ones. That is also what keeps the reviews credible.

Review requests by email or SMS are electronic messages under CASL: consent is captured, the sender is identified and an unsubscribe is included. Nothing is sent to people who have not agreed to hear from you.

Questions

Can you remove a bad review?

Not if it is genuine. We can report reviews that break platform rules, and we help you write a calm, factual response that prospects will read as a point in your favour.

Is it legal to ask customers for reviews in Canada?

Asking is fine. Paying for reviews, writing fake ones or selectively filtering who is asked are not, under platform policy and consumer protection rules. Electronic requests must follow CASL.

Which platforms should we collect reviews on?

Google first for almost every local business, then one industry platform if your customers use one. Spreading requests across many platforms weakens all of them.

How soon after a job should the request go out?

The same day, while the experience is fresh. The trigger is set to the moment the job is truly complete, such as payment or a completed appointment.
