Maintenance on a Redenn-built site means monthly dependency updates, backups, uptime and error monitoring, and fixes for anything that breaks on our side. It is included with Redenn Business hosting at CA$199 per year and every tier above; content changes are billed as website changes from CA$29, and larger work is quoted before it starts.

Who this is for
Every business with a Redenn-built site on Business hosting or above; it is part of the plan. The businesses who notice it most are the ones who came from WordPress, where maintenance meant a monthly retainer to update plugins that occasionally broke the site.
Sites Redenn did not build need an audit first, quoted after we see the code. Some can be maintained; some are better rebuilt or modernized.

Why there is less to maintain
A Redenn site is a Next.js build with no plugin layer. Pages are generated at build time and served from a CDN, so there is no admin panel to patch and no database on a brochure site. Updates are to a small set of well-maintained dependencies, applied in one place and verified by a build that either passes or does not.
Limitations and honest notes
Maintenance keeps the site working as built. Adding a section, changing a layout or writing a page is a website change from CA$29 or a scoped project.
Third-party services you connect, such as a booking app or a CRM, are maintained by their vendors. When they change an API, reconnecting is usually covered; rebuilding an integration they removed is quoted.
Major framework upgrades that change how the site is built are scoped separately and announced in the yearly review, not slipped into a monthly update.
Questions
Do I need a separate maintenance plan?
No. Maintenance is part of Business hosting and above. Lite covers static sites that need almost none.
What if something breaks?
Monitoring alerts Redenn, and anything that stops working as built is fixed under the plan. If the cause is a change you request or a third-party service, we tell you before doing paid work.
Can you maintain my WordPress site?
We audit it first. Some WordPress websites should stay on WordPress and can be maintained; others are better served by WordPress Modernization from CA$499.
How are updates tested?
Every update runs through the build, which fails if something is wrong. On Pro Managed, updates are deployed to staging and checked before production.
