The domain is registered in your name and you can transfer it away at any time; Redenn manages it only if you ask and never holds a client domain hostage.

.ca domains and CIRA
CIRA, the registry for .ca, applies Canadian Presence Requirements: .ca domains are limited to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, Canadian corporations, trademark holders and other listed categories. A .ca signals a Canadian business to customers and search engines; a .com is sensible alongside it if you sell outside Canada or want to protect the name.

Limitations and honest notes
Availability cannot be guaranteed; a name that is taken is taken, and premium names carry the price the market sets.
Registrant contact details must be accurate and yours. Registrars can suspend domains with false contact information.
Redenn manages the domain; it does not manage trademarks. If the name matters to your brand, a trademark search is a separate conversation with a professional.

Should I register .ca or .com?
For a business serving Canadians, .ca first. Register the .com as well if it is available and you want to protect the name or sell outside Canada.
Can I keep my domain at my current registrar?
Yes. We set the DNS records with you and there is no management fee. Management only applies if you ask Redenn to hold the domain in its systems on your behalf.
What happens to my domain if I leave Redenn?
It is already in your name. We unlock it and provide the authorization code on request, and management ends.
